If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.\nJob Summary\nWork Hours: M-F, 9 am - 6 pm or 10 am - 7 pm (Swing Shift)\nSummary:\nThe Process Engineer (Swing Shift) will be based in Coopersville, MI reporting to the Director of Engineering.\nIn charge for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to hold up a manufacturing organization.\nResponsibilities:\nRecognize the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques and the product.\nDefine, implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.\nHave the capability to singly or with other engineering stakeholders identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process.\nHigh level participation in daily production activities and effective problem solving on daily issues.\nPrepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.\nHold up and oversee new process equipment production.\nHold up the raising and introduction of engineering change orders (ECOs).\nEstablish robust, repeatable and reproducible process parameters.\nDevelop, implement and take ownership of process control methodologies.\nTrouble shoot process related issues.\nParticipate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements.\nEvaluate and select various engineered materials.\nImplement statistical process research on new and existing products.\nImplement safety, productivity and give in improvements.\nImprove manufacturing techniques and through put.\nProvide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that will improve in-house capabilities and gives in.\nDevelop and maintain process documentation.\nReview processing methods.\nInterface with production of all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer.\nAssist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer.\nProvide equipment maintenance and repair hold up as required.\nGuide cost improvement/reduction programs.\nQualifications:\nTypically requires a Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience and training.\nTypically requires 3 years of experience in engineering in the high technology electronics industry or related area.\nWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:\nFull range of medical, dental, and vision plans\nLife Insurance\nShort-term and Long-term Disability\nMatching 401(k) Contributions\nVacation and Paid Sick Time\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nApplication Deadline:\nApplications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
