And for a full listing of open job opportunities go to https://careers.na.panasonic.com/avionics/jobs.\n\nJOB SUMMARY\n\nPerform maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations to Panasonic Avionics Corporation (PAC) In- flight Entertainment Systems on aircraft subjected to FAA/CAA/EASA/CASA Regulations to include: troubleshooting and testing of electronic assemblies and units, the removal and replacement of electronic assemblies, units or cabling while installed in the aircraft and the modification/alteration of installed equipment.\n\nMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES.Description\n\nAircraft/IFE Maintenance and Support\nPerform built-in test (BIT) and manual test of Panasonic Avionics Corporation IFE systems.\nTroubleshoot electronic units, cabling or seat consoles in which failures occur down to the line replaceable modules, using knowledge of electronic theory.\nIdentify necessary repairs to restore functional acceptance, which may require the removal and replacement of defective line replaceable modules and/or cabling.\nOperate a vehicle on airport property and around aircraft.\nOperate airline communications equipment.\nCommunicate and interface with customer.\nAdministrative/Documentation\nDocument the testing and repairs using computer and bar-coding equipment.\nReceive and prepare parts.\nAssist in tracking the spares inventory.\nPerform other reasonable related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management.\n\nWHAT IS REQUIRED:\n\nHS diploma or GED is required.\nAirframe & Powerplant License, or a related certificate of equal value is required.\nMust be able to pass a background and drug screening (marijuana included).\nMust have a valid driver's license.\nMust be open to most shifts.
