Valid driver's license and clean driving record required!\nMechanical Technician support of NVH / Chassis dyno testing\nRequirements\n· Minimum two-year associate degree in automotive technology or equivalent (ASE Master Mechanic with multiple years of dealership experience)\n· 2+ yrs of electrical and/or mechanical hands-on experience\nWhat Can give you the edge (preferred skills)\n· Chassis Dynamometer testing / lab experience\n· Familiarity with Test automation systems\n· Experience with data acquisition systems\nThe position is open to backfill direct employees.\nRequired skills:\n· Knowledge with instrumentation installation, troubleshooting and repair.\n· A valid drivers license\n· Excellent mechanical assembly and disassembly skills. · Experience with hand and air tools.\n· Data acquisition, review and troubleshooting experience.\n· Effective time management skills.\n· Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both independent and team environments.\n· Ability to learn from and share knowledge with co-workers ·\n· Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple assignments.\n· Basic computer skills (Microsoft word, excel, power point, Outlook).\n· Ability to handle basic project assignments with minimum supervision.\n· Ability to repeatedly perform activities involving bending, twisting, pulling and lifting of vehicle components up to 50 pounds, unassisted. Moving test equipment and portable tools (70-200 #) around the shop as required.\n· Perform overhead and under dash assembly/disassembly operations on every build.
