We are equipped to handle every phase of the materials engineering process, from initial exploration to delivery of the end-product.\n\nWe are currently searching for a Materials Dispatch Coordinator (Night Shift) to complement our team at our site in Buffalo, NY. This position will report to the Operations Manager.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nTake sand samples at various locations in the plant facility.\nComplete sieve analysis of all plant operational sand samples.\nEnsure sample containers are properly labeled and ready for sampling of all boat loads.\nComplete analysis of all boat load shipments.\nComplete all calibration testing on required lab equipment.\nReport to Facility Manager and Shift Supervisors all Quality Control Issues.\nServe as the first point of contact for operational issues involving drivers and railyard personnel, escalating matters to management as required.\nCoordinate work schedules for drivers and rail crews, communicate assignments, and obtain required signoffs.\nReview and verify transportation documentation, including daily logs, inspection reports, delivery receipts, and shipping paperwork.\nMonitor job progress, operational performance, and transportation costs, providing regular reports to Management.\nAssist in resolving product, material, and equipment issues that impact fulfillment or delivery.\nIdentify operational challenges and recommend process improvements to increase productivity, safety, and service quality.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nAdditional Responsibilities:\n\nProvide on-the-job training to new employees for working in the lab.\nComplete testing on various samples from new raw material sources as needed.\nComplete other tasks as assigned to maintain plant safety and maintenance control.\n\nSkills:\n\nAbility to read and interpret schematics of the plant process.\nCommunicating effectively with co-workers, subordinates, and superiors.\nBasic reading, writing, and arithmetic skill required.
