{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"4e715d72b28ff597e802b164","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/4e715d72b28ff597e802b164","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/4e715d72b28ff597e802b164","title":"Production Workforce Development Manager","description":"*Summary:*\n\nVerigon, an electronics contract manufacturer, has an exciting opportunity as we grow the company for a self-motivated, results oriented, Production Workforce Development Manager to develop and implement various employee training modules along with maintaining the training tracking system.\n\n*Qualifications/Skills:*\n\n* 4+ years of experience in a training role, preferably within a production/manufacturing environment.\n* Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and facilitation techniques.\n* Familiarity with electronics soldering and assembly manufacturing processes, safety practices, and quality systems.\n* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.\n* Proficient in Microsoft Office.\n\n· Ability to read and comprehend English\n\n*Responsibilities:*\n\n* Design, develop, and deliver training programs for production floor employees, including onboarding, upskilling, cross-training, and compliance/safety training.\n* Facilitate classroom, hands-on, and on-the-job training (OJT) sessions tailored to production roles.\n* Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) in collaboration with supervisors and managers to identify skills gaps and prioritize training initiatives.\n* Maintain and update training materials and records.\n* Monitor and assess training effectiveness through assessments, observations, and feedback loops; continuously improve training content.\n* Support the development of career pathways and internal certification programs for operators, technicians, and leads.\n* Maintain training records and compliance documentation to meet internal standards and external regulations (AS9100, ISO 13485).\n* Coach and mentor production employees, acting as a point of contact for skill development.\n* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Quality, Engineering, Operations) to ensure training aligns with company goals and standards.\n\nThe work environment is typical of a manufacturing setting where hazardous materials may be present. Security investigations may be conducted to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and/or work areas.\n\n_The interviewing process includes completing an employment application and consent form to obtain background information.
