Our core competencies include drug metabolism, pharmacokinetics/ pharmacodynamics (PK/PD), safety and toxicology, bioanalytical services, chemistry and manufacturing controls for drug development, and core laboratory services for clinical trials.\n\nSummary:\n\n The Facilities Associate is responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and upkeep of all company facilities. This role involves performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of building systems, equipment, and infrastructure. The Facilities Associate is expected to be proactive and hands-on, with the ability to support multiple facilities as needed in a 2 mile radius ensuring a safe and efficient workplace in compliance with company standards and safety regulations.\n\n Responsibilities:\n\nPerforms/oversees general repair and maintenance involving HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.\nPerforms daily rounds of critical utilities and updates the system logbook accordingly.\nGeneral maintenance may include replacing and/or repairing lighting, incidental carpentry, paint, ceiling tiles, bathroom fixtures, moving furniture-fixtures-equipment, etc.\nPerform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to ensure systems run smoothly and efficiently.\nKeep accurate records of completed work, parts used, and maintenance schedules.\nPerforms work as assigned via Computer Maintenance Management System and documents work performed in a timely manner.\nInterface with professional contractors, and third party vendors for projects and tasks as needed.\nMaintains a clean and safe working environment.\nMay perform minor renovations or installations.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\n\nEducation, Experience & Skills Required:\n\nMinimum of 1-2 years of experience in facilities or a related field (experience can be substituted for relevant technical training).\nHigh school diploma or equivalent, preferably with technical training courses. Advanced education is a plus, but not critical.\nPrior experience in a pharmaceutical facility is a plus.\nAbility to work with hand and power tools.\nAbility to work from drawings or a rough sketch.\nKnowledge of all equipment, safety, and OSHA rules and regulations.\nAbility to work alone or with minimal supervision.\nKnowledge of Microsoft programs.\nGood verbal and written communications skills.\nExcellent people skills.\n\nPhysical Working Conditions:\n\nAbility to lift 50 pounds\nUse hand and power tools\nWork off a ladder\nAbility to work on ladders or lifts in high ceiling areas.\nOccasionally work outdoors or on a roof.\nWork with and/or coordinate work of third-party vendors.\nMUST have a can-do mentality\nAbility to work within a TEAM structure or independently to ensure project tasks are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.\n\nSalary and Benefits:\n\nFrontage Laboratories offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including health and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, disability insurance, and life insurance.\n\nFrontage Laboratories Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
