Frequent travel throughout assigned contract area is required.\n\nPay Range: $70,000-$80,000\n\nResponsibilities\n\nDevelop and conduct required training programs for new hires and current employees.\nMonitor, evaluate, or record training activities for program effectiveness.\nOffer specific training programs to help workers maintain or improve job skills; develop alternative training methods if expected improvements are not seen.\nOrganize and develop, or obtain, training procedure manuals and course materials such as handouts and visual materials.\nPresent information using a variety of instructional techniques or formats such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lectures.\nEvaluate training materials prepared by instructors, such as outlines, text, or handouts.\nConduct quality assurance inspections to include security screening operations at federal facilities.\nProvide instruction for new hires and current employees as required to maintain and improve marksmanship skills.\nResponsible for all aspects of quality control under the contract.\nMonitor compliance with contract requirements, post orders, and training requirements.\nIdentify operational deficiency and provide recommendation for corrective action.\nAssist with internal audits.\nMaintain accurate records, reports and documentation related to qualify assurance.\nDevelop and enforce QA/QC plans to ensure quality.\nDevelop an inspection process based on the contract requirements while performing and documenting inspections, analyzing the resulting data, and submitting the data to the Director of Quality Control.\n\nRequirements\n\nMust be a minimum of 21 years of age.\nMust have a high school diploma or equivalent.\nMust be a U.S. Citizen and read, write, and speak English.\nMust maintain a valid driver's license and safely operate a motor vehicle\nProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\nMust have a minimum of two (2) years of training and field supervision experience in civilian community law enforcement, military service law enforcement, or commercial/industrial security force service.\nCertified Firearms Instructor (NRA, POST, FLETC, DOD, or equivalent) preferred.\nCurrent certifications in First Aid, CPR/AED, Defensive Tactics, Handcuffing, Baton, OC Spray, and Firearms.\nMust be able to safely operate and demonstrate firearms and related law enforcement/security equipment.\nMust be able to effectively demonstrate defensive tactics, handcuffing procedures, use of force techniques, and other security-related skills as required.\nMust be able to visually observe and evaluate trainee performance, weapons handling, and safety compliance.\nMust be able to respond effectively to and manage emergency situations occurring during training activities.\nMust be able to hear and communicate effectively in classroom, range, and operational environments.\nMust be physically capable of meeting and maintaining all requirements necessary to perform duties associated with a Protective Security Officer (PSO) position, including firearms qualification and any contractual required medical or physical standards.\n\nWorking\n\nWork is performed at federal facilities, training environments, firing ranges, and office settings\nPosition requires standing and walking for extended periods throughout the workday including while conducting classroom instruction, practical exercises, inspections, and firearms training.\nPosition requires the ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb stairs during training activities, site assessments, and practical exercises.\nMust be able to lift, carry, and transport training materials, equipment, ammunition, targets, and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.\nMay involve exposure to loud noise levels during firearms training\nMust be able to wear and utilize required personal protective equipment, including body armor, hearing protection, eye protection, and duty gear.\nMust be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions during firearms qualifications, practical exercises, and field training events.\nMust be able to sit for extended periods while preparing lesson plans, completing reports, maintaining records, and conducting administrative duties.\nMust be able to travel frequently throughout the assigned contract area to conduct training, inspections, audits, and field evaluations.\n\nAt First Coast Security Solutions, you’ll be part of a team supporting mission-critical federal operations that truly make a difference.
