WHY DO WE NEED YOU?Technical Sales Rep – Eastern Iowa (Cedar Rapids / Iowa City) | 75% Travel | Mechanically Inclined | Industry Experience strongly referred **The Technical Sales Representative (TSR) is a fully remote role responsible for coordinating sales activities within the assigned territory, creating added value for the customer with a clear focus on increasing market share, profitability, and customer satisfaction.This role will cover the state of Iowa.Essential FunctionsLead the development and implementation of account plans and growth actions within the assigned region/territoryDefine sales targets for assigned accounts and ensure targets are achieved through structured follow-up utilizing a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) toolProvide solutions for customer businesses that align with volume, mix, and profitability targetsMonitor competitor activity and ensure appropriate action is takenBuild long-term customer relationships and ensure service needs are fulfilledNetwork through active participation in industry association events and committee assignmentsWork closely with other departments, including manufacturing and logistics, to ensure customer service needs are metIdentify bottlenecks in service delivery and work within the company to resolve issuesCoordinate sales activities with team members in business development and application specialistsIS THIS JOB FOR YOU?RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or other relevant field requiredMaster’s Degree preferred5+ years of experience in sales or an operational role within construction and/or concrete industriesKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesExcellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and influencing skillsTechnical aptitude for construction products and their application, with significant experience in concrete production or constructionAbility to understand customers’ business needs and propose appropriate solutionsStrong time management skills with the ability to balance prospecting, selling, and account managementExperience collecting and analyzing data concerning customer behavior to understand changing market needsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailEffective problem-solving skillsKnowledge and experience using Microsoft Office tools and CRM systemsCollaborative, solution-focused approach with strong communication and customer relationship-building skills to maintain existing business and support new customer opportunitiesA LITTLE MORE ABOUT USChryso is a leading global designer and manufacturer of high quality concrete admixture thanks to a strong commitment to research and innovation, coupled with adherence to the strictest manufacturing standards in the industry. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $81,500 to $126,500 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 5% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $85,575 to $131,925.00.
