This role is based in-office in Los Angeles and includes both case handling responsibilities and oversight of a team of case managers.This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to expand into a leadership role while continuing to develop litigation skills.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a full caseload of workers compensation matters from inception through resolutionAppear at hearings, conferences, depositions, and trials as requiredSupervise and provide direction to a team of case managersReview case manager work to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and proper case progressionCommunicate with clients, adjusters, opposing counsel, and medical providersDraft pleadings, motions, and settlement documentsEvaluate cases and lead settlement negotiationsEnsure compliance with WCAB procedures, deadlines, and internal workflowsQualificationsActive California Bar license (required)Minimum 1 year of workers compensation experienceStrong knowledge of WCAB procedures and California labor codePrior experience supervising or mentoring staff is a plusStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to manage a high-volume caseload while overseeing support staffBilingual (Spanish) is a plusWhat We OfferCompetitive base salary + performance-based bonusesDedicated team of case managers and assistantsStable, high-volume caseloadCollaborative, in-office work environmentOur locations includeEncinoOaklandHemetPalm Desert
