Full Stack Engineer

Senior Angular + .NET/C# Full Stack Engineer opportunity with a NYC agency. This role requires hands-on Angular front-end development and C#/.NET backend API development, with SQL Server and secure authentication experience.Primary backend technology is C#/.NET. This is not a Java/Spring Boot role.Location: NYC hybrid — 3 days onsite / 2 days remoteThe Senior Full Stack Developer will provide technical services to support the development, enhancement, modernization, and maintenance of the Civil Service Exam Project(s). The consultant will work across the full application stack, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-quality delivery of application features and system improvements. Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain front-end components using Angular and modern UI frameworks.Build and enhance .NET APIs, backend services, and application logic to support project functionality.Optimize SQL Server database structures, queries, and stored procedures for performance and reliability.Implement secure coding practices, OAuth-based authentication, and compliance with cybersecurity standards.Support system troubleshooting, code reviews, and technical documentation to ensure stable and maintainable releases. MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE 10+ years overall application development experience, with strong hands-on Angular experience.Strong .NET experience (C#, Web APIs, backend development).Hands-on experience with OAuth and secure authentication/authorization patterns.Proficiency with SQL Server, including database design and performance tuning.Demonstrated secure coding practices and familiarity with cybersecurity standards.Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-team coordination.Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
