In this role, you will be working with some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world developing products that make data faster and safer.\n\nAs a Program Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in leading complex, company-wide initiatives in memory technologies, driving innovation across memory architectures, high-speed interfaces, memory subsystems, and next-generation memory solutions. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong program leadership to plan, execute, and deliver cross-functional initiatives aligned with strategic business objectives, while shaping future technologies, products, and overall business direction. In this full-time role, you’ll report directly to our Director of Engineering Program Management.\n\nRambus offers a flexible work environment, embracing a hybrid approach for most office-based roles. Employees are encouraged to spend an average of at least three days per week onsite, allowing for two days of remote work.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nProgram Leadership\n\nDefine program scope, goals, and success metrics aligned with organizational strategy\nManage program roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables\nCoordinate and drive execution across multiple interdependent projects\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration\n\nPartner with stakeholders across engineering, product management, operations, finance, and other teams\nFacilitate communication and alignment between teams and leadership\nResolve cross-team dependencies and remove blockers\n\nExecution & Delivery\n\nMonitor program progress and ensure milestones are met on schedule\nIdentify risks and implement mitigation strategies\nDrive accountability across teams\n\nStakeholder Management\n\nCommunicate program status, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership\nBuild strong relationships with internal stakeholders\nManage expectations and ensure alignment on priorities\n\nProcess Improvement\n\nEstablish and optimize program management processes and best practices\nContinuously improve workflows, tools, and reporting mechanisms\nPromote operational excellence and efficiency\n\nData & Reporting\n\nTrack performance metrics and KPIs\nProvide regular reporting and insights to leadership\nUse data to inform decisions and drive program success\n\nScope & Independence\n\nExercises wide latitude in determining objectives, strategies, and execution approaches for critical initiatives\nInfluences decision-making and direction across organizations without formal authority\nServes as a key driver of vision, innovation, and technical excellence in security\nQualifications:\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nMinimum of 10-15 years of related experience in security, engineering, or technology leadership\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field\nProven ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs\nStrong organizational and problem-solving skills\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilities\nExperience with program management tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project)\nExpertise across multiple areas of such as:\nMemory technology (DDR5, LPDDR5/6, HBM3/4)\nFamiliarity with memory controllers PHYs and understanding of ASIC/SoC development flow.\n\nKey Competencies\n\nStrategic thinking\nLeadership and influence without authority\nRisk management\nDecision-making\nAdaptability and resilience\nAttention to detail with a big-picture mindset\n\nWork Environment\n\nFast-paced, collaborative environment\nRequires managing multiple priorities simultaneously\nMay involve cross-time-zone coordination\nLocated in Hillsboro OR\n\nAbout Rambus\n\nRambus is a global company that makes industry-leading memory interface chips and Silicon IP to advance data center connectivity and solve the bottleneck between memory and processing.
