(ORSA) to support complex wargaming activities and analytical studies focused on future force capabilities, operational concepts, and military planning.The role will apply operations research, statistical analysis, mathematical modeling, and data visualization techniques to evaluate wargame outcomes and provide actionable insights that can inform doctrine, planning, and capability development.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute wargames and tabletop exercises.Support strategic objectives related to future force development and military operations.Apply operations research, statistical analysis, and mathematical modeling techniques to evaluate operational concepts and wargame outcomes.Collaborate with military planners, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to establish scenarios, objectives, and evaluation metrics.Collect, process, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data generated during exercises.Identify trends, capability gaps, operational challenges, and areas for improvement.Develop evaluation frameworks and analytical methodologies for wargaming activities.Support the integration of modeling and simulation tools into wargame execution.Prepare analytical reports, briefings, presentations, and recommendations for senior leadership.Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable information for technical and non-technical audiences.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Systems Engineering, Data Science, or a related analytical discipline.5+ years of experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis supporting military operations, wargaming, or defense planning.Alternatively, 10 years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement.Proficiency with statistical analysis and data visualization tools such as Python, R, Tableau, and Excel.Strong understanding of Marine Corps organizational structure, doctrine, and future force design concepts.Ability to analyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable recommendations.Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Operations Research or a related technical discipline.Experience developing evaluation frameworks and data collection plans for exercises or wargames.Familiarity with combat modeling and simulation applications used within the Department of Defense.Prior military service, particularly within the U.S. Marine Corps.Experience with operational planning and military decision-making processes.Security ClearanceActive, current TS/SCI security clearance required.Physical RequirementsAbility and willingness to perform occasional manual labor and warehouse-related duties.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to remain stationary for approximately 50% of the
