Needs to be teachable with a propensity to learn and open to constructive criticism.Tasks and Responsibilities:Install HVAC and building automation controls on new construction, remodeled, and service locationsInstall communication and control wire possibly in obscure locations which may include above ceiling grid, through interior and exterior walls, in tight crawl spaces, or in high placesInstall control devices in sometimes hard to reach locationsInstall controllers and terminate wires for sensors and actuators using a wiring diagramRead and interpret construction plans, drawings and wiring diagramsSkills and Job Requirements:Possess an aptitude for electrical wiring and reading and interpreting wiring diagramsPossess aptitude to read and interpret plans and specifications for a projectAble to bend conduit to fit an applicationAble to climb ladders and work at moderate heights (mostly between 20 and 30 feet)Must be capable of lifting equipment up to 75 lbs. for a distanceWilling to work after hours and weekends when necessaryAbility to use a multimeterJob Qualifications:Minimum of one-year technical certificate in HVAC or equivalent from an accredited institution or 2 years of experience in an HVAC related fieldPossess desire and aptitude to eventually lead a crewPossess basic set of tools (screw drivers, drill, etc.)Must have a valid driver’s license and able to drive a company vehicle when necessary (must be 21 years of age)Equal Opportunity EmployerCapstone Mechanical strives to uphold high standards of fairness, business ethics, and responsible behavior.
