This role provides leadership across project planning, execution, stakeholder alignment, risk management, and program governance to ensure successful delivery of strategic objectives.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong technical and organizational capabilities with exceptional communication skills, emotional intelligence, and leadership presence. The role requires the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments, build trust across teams, manage competing priorities, and drive collaboration in fast-paced project settings.\nThe Program Manager will interface with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, CQV, Supply Chain, EHS, Procurement, and external partners to ensure projects are executed safely, compliantly, on schedule, and within budget.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Program & Project Leadership\nLead and manage multiple capital, operational, or technical projects simultaneously\nDevelop integrated project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource strategies\nCoordinate execution activities across Engineering, Construction, CQV, Manufacturing, and Quality teams\nMonitor project performance, milestones, risks, and critical path activities\nDrive issue resolution and escalation management to maintain project objectives\nEnsure alignment between project execution and business priorities\n2. Stakeholder Management & Communication\nServe as primary point of coordination among cross-functional teams and leadership stakeholders\nFacilitate clear, proactive, and transparent communication across all organizational levels\nLead project meetings, status updates, governance reviews, and executive presentations\nTranslate complex technical information into clear business-focused communication\nBuild strong collaborative relationships with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and site leadership\nFoster alignment during periods of organizational change, shifting priorities, or project challenges\n3. Cross-Functional Team Coordination\nPromote teamwork and accountability across diverse functional groups\nSupport conflict resolution through professionalism, diplomacy, and solution-oriented communication\nEncourage collaborative problem-solving and maintain positive team dynamics under pressure\nProvide leadership and direction while maintaining approachability and trust with team members\nMentor and support junior team members when applicable\n4. Risk, Compliance & Execution Oversight\nIdentify project risks, operational constraints, and resource gaps proactively\nDevelop mitigation strategies and contingency plans\nEnsure activities comply with applicable safety, quality, GMP, and corporate requirements\nSupport management of scope changes, action items, and project documentation\nMonitor contractor and vendor performance to ensure project deliverables are achieved\n5. Reporting & Governance\nPrepare and deliver program dashboards, KPIs, executive summaries, and status reports\nMaintain accurate project documentation, meeting minutes, and action trackers\nSupport leadership decision-making through timely and data-driven communication\nEnsure program activities remain aligned with strategic business objectives\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or related technical field\nExperience managing projects or programs within pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or other regulated industries\nStrong understanding of project lifecycle management and cross-functional execution\nExcellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills\nDemonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder environments effectively\nStrong organizational, facilitation, and decision-making abilities\nExperience leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments\nAbility to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and composure\nCritical Soft Skills & Leadership Competencies\nCommunication Skills\nExceptional active listening and interpersonal communication abilities\nAbility to communicate with empathy, clarity, and professionalism\nSkilled in managing difficult conversations and aligning diverse perspectives\nStrong executive presence and confidence in leading meetings and presentations\nAbility to influence without direct authority\nEmotional Intelligence\nHigh level of self-awareness, professionalism, and adaptability\nAbility to remain composed and solution-focused under pressure\nStrong relationship-building and conflict management skills\nDemonstrated empathy and respect in team interactions\nAbility to recognize team dynamics and foster a collaborative work environment\nStrong situational awareness and stakeholder sensitivity\nPreferred Qualifications\nPMP certification or equivalent project management training\nExperience supporting capital projects, facility expansions, or startup initiatives\nFamiliarity with CQV, GMP manufacturing operations, or regulated project environments\nExperience interacting with senior leadership and executive stakeholders\nExperience managing external vendors, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams\nAt Validation & Engineering Group, people always come first.
