We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential in supporting our kitchen operations, ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards of taste and presentation. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role within the food service industry is preferred.
Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques.
Knowledge of dietary requirements and menu planning is a plus.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
