2nd Shift","description":"2nd shift hours: 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm\nThis position receives a $2.50 shift differential for working 2nd shift!\n\nThe role will be responsible for supporting facility safety programs while performing duties related to unloading inbound receipts, stock put-a-ways, loading, and supporting operations through material movements throughout the distribution operation.\n\nMust have stand up forklift experience in the past year.\nComplete all required safety and regulatory training as applies.\nAbility to support front/back/pull to the lines.\nAbility to support secondary packaging/blending operations (will train).\nStaging of Finished Goods for outbound shipment to DHL in designated area.\nUnloading of inbound shipments.\nTrain on High Reach for put away of inbound materials.\nEnsure all required paperwork is complete and accurate.\nMaintain forklift and other lifting devices as required, including battery changing/charging, water levels and charging areas, related equipment, as it applies.\nInterface with all levels of personnel in a positive, team building manner.\nWork from established procedures and/or verbal instructions, radio communications.\nMaintain work areas in a neat and orderly condition in accordance with the Visual Management and 5S Standards.\nFollow all prescribed Health, Safety and Environmental laws, OSHA, rules and regulations.\nEscalate all issues affecting the key metrics: Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.\nCollaborate with internal departments to address and resolve issues.\nOther duties as assigned due to business needs.\n\nHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education experience required\nSelf-direction with an emphasis on quality and productivity\nPossess decision making and problem-solving skills with little to no direction\nCommunication, basic computer skills, and basic math skills.\n2+ years’ experience operating in a warehouse setting.\n2 + years’ experience on Stand-up counterbalance forklifts including current experience within the last 12 calendar months.\nSkilled in SAP/WMS and functionality of Windows Tablet (i.e. material look up)\n\nWork Environment\nWeight: Lifting up to 60 LBS., with the ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.\nJob requires: Analytical skills, self-direction, problem solving, attention to detail and communication and the ability to be self-driven to continually learn.\nPhysical capabilities: Stretching, lifting, climbing, twisting, turning, standing, pulling, pushing, reaching and bending.","company":"Energize","rawCompany":"energize","city":"Vandalia","state":"OH","isRemote":false,"isActive":false,"createdAt":"2026-08-04T00:14:54.142Z","occupations":[{"code":"53-7062.00","title":"Laborers and Freight, Stock, and Material Movers, Hand","slug":"laborers-and-freight-stock-and-material-movers-hand"},{"code":"53-7199.00","title":"Material Moving Workers, All Other","slug":"material-moving-workers-all-other"},{"code":"53-7065.00","title":"Stockers and Order Fillers","slug":"stockers-and-order-fillers"}],"industries":[{"code":"493110","title":"General Warehousing and Storage","slug":"general-warehousing-and-storage"},{"code":"493190","title":"Other Warehousing and Storage","slug":"other-warehousing-and-storage"},{"code":"488320","title":"Marine Cargo Handling","slug":"marine-cargo-handling"}],"jobPosting":{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"JobPosting","title":"Material Handler 2 -
