This role is essential to maintaining smooth operations, organization, and adherence to safety protocols.Key ResponsibilitiesMove trailers within the yard to assigned locations for loading and unloadingPerform pre-trip inspections on spotter trucksAccurately track trailer positions and yard movementsCommunicate with warehouse and operations teams regarding trailer coordinationMaintain yard cleanliness and organizationReport equipment issues or safety concerns promptlyFollow all company policies, including safety, conduct, drug/alcohol, EEO, and no-smoking policiesComplete other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED equivalentValid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)Current and valid DOT Medical CardActive compliance with the DOT FMCSA ClearinghouseClean driving record with a history of safe operationsSuccessful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screenMinimum of 3 years of experience in a yard spotter or similar CDL role strongly preferredProficiency in operating yard tractors in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication, organizational, and teamwork skillsAbility to work outdoors in various weather conditionsCapable of lifting up to 25 lbs and performing physical tasks associated with the roleAvailability for 12-hour day or night shifts, including weekendsCompensation and BenefitsHourly Pay: $22.00 - $24.00Night Shift Differential: Additional $0.50 per hourOvertime: Paid after 40 hoursWeekly Pay: Direct depositBenefits (after 90 days):Health, dental, and vision insuranceAncillary coverage optionsPaid Time Off (PTO)Company-paid holidaysOpportunities for career growthPPE RequirementSteel toe bootsSafety vestSafety glassesScheduleDay Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PMNight Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AMWeekly Hours: 48-60 hoursEqual Employment Opportunity Statement
