As an engineering professional in the intelligence community, you will work as part of a team on the frontlines against our cyber adversaries.\r\nWhat You'll be Owning:\r\nAs part of the Secure the Enterprise initiative, develop capabilities to shift from the current manual system security evaluation and authorization process to a new model that emphasizes automation, streamlined processes and approvals, continuous monitoring and assessment, and network data gathering across the entire life cycle of a project.\r\nThe Database Engineer will provide technical expertise for database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis.\r\nThe Database Engineer will develop or maintain database structure to fit into the overall architecture of the system.\r\nThe Database Engineer will create new workflows to take over existing processes as needed as well as provide break/fix requests or updates.\r\nThe Database Engineer will lead development of database structures, database parser software, and database loading software.\r\nThe Database Engineer will support the development and testing of various Python based ReST end points, microservices, and data model management capabilities utilizing Django and Flask frameworks to interact with data models such as MariaDB, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL and send data upon request, in JSON format, to UI front ends.\r\nWhat You Must Have\r\nActive TS/SCI with polygraph clearance. Most recent poly in the last 6 years.\r\n5-10 years of related technical experience addition to related bachelor's degree or 10-15 years' experience in lieu of degree.\r\nDatabase Engineering experience using MongoDB, including:\r\ndeployment and management of the database itself\r\ndebugging of optimization issues\r\nscaling\r\nWhat Would Be Nice to Have\r\nPython, Django or Flask\r\nReST Endpoint Development\r\nMicro-Service Model\r\nSwagger\r\nAWS, C2S or other cloud experience\r\nDocker\r\nVisual Studio Code or similar IDEs, JSON and/or XML serialization\r\nJira, Confluence\r\nGit version control\r\nExperience working in Agile environment\r\nPay Range\r\nAt GRVTY, we understand that compensation is influenced by many factors - such as geographic location, federal contract labor categories, wage rates, prior experience, skillsets, education, and certifications.\r\nWe're proud to offer a work environment that empowers our team to achieve a strong work-life balance.
