This role supports the operation of a high-reliability electronics manufacturing (SMT / PCBA) facility by ensuring production areas, workspaces, and shared facilities meet cleanliness and safety standards.\n\nThe ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a manufacturing environment with minimal supervision.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nFacility Cleaning & Maintenance\n\nClean and maintain manufacturing floors, offices, restrooms, break rooms, and conference areas\n\nSweep, mop, and maintain production floors and walkways\n\nEmpty trash and recycling bins throughout the facility\n\nClean windows, glass surfaces, doors, and walls as needed\n\nMaintain cleanliness in receiving, warehouse, and staging areas\n\nProduction Area Support\n\nMaintain clean floors and walkways in SMT production areas\n\nFollow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety requirements when working near electronics manufacturing equipment\n\nEnsure no contamination or debris enters production areas\n\nSupport housekeeping standards required for electronics manufacturing environments\n\nRestroom & Common Area Maintenance\n\nClean and sanitize restrooms daily\n\nRefill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper\n\nMaintain cleanliness of employee break rooms and kitchens\n\nClean and maintain locker rooms and common areas\n\nWaste Management\n\nCollect and dispose of facility waste\n\nSeparate general waste, recycling, and manufacturing waste\n\nTransport trash to designated dumpster areas\n\nAssist with cardboard recycling and material disposal\n\nSafety & Compliance\n\nFollow all facility safety procedures and PPE requirements\n\nReport spills, hazards, or maintenance issues immediately\n\nMaintain safe cleaning practices around sensitive manufacturing equipment\n\nSupport 5S and facility organization standards\n\nQualifications\nRequired\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred\n\nPrior janitorial or facility cleaning experience preferred\n\nAbility to lift up to 40 pounds\n\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical work throughout the shift\n\nReliable attendance and strong work ethic\n\nPreferred\n\nExperience working in a manufacturing environment\n\nFamiliarity with ESD-safe environments\n\nExperience supporting 5S or facility organization standards\n\nWork Environment\n\nThis position works in a mixed office and electronics manufacturing environment, including production floors with SMT equipment, warehouse areas, and office spaces.\n\nEmployees may be required to:\n\nWear ESD protection and PPE\n\nWork around manufacturing equipment\n\nUse cleaning chemicals and janitorial equipment\n\nSchedule\n\nFull-time or part-time positions may be available depending on facility needs.\n\nBenefits\n\nCompetitive hourly pay\n\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance\n\nPaid time off\n\n401(k)\n\nOpportunities for advancement within the company\n\nITAR/EAR Compliance: Due to the nature of the work performed at Rocket EMS, this position may require access to export-controlled technical data or technology.
