Joining the Cates team is both challenging and rewarding. You will become an important member of a very talented and dynamic team within our industry. If this sounds like you, please read on!\nThe Role\nLogin to the appropriate software database based on the project number as shown on the drawings.\nCheck out all hardware from the parts staging area.\nLayout all hardware and materials according to the drawings provided.\nDrill and install all parts onto the back panel.\nMake sure all empty boxes are kept until the job ships.\nMake sure all paperwork for each part is kept with the panel.\nCut/Hole-punch enclosures according to the provided drawings.\nInstall all required hardware on the enclosure.\nLocate and designate any hardware that needs to be “loose shipped” with project.\nReturn any unused hardware for the back pan or enclosure.\nComplete the layout check sheet supplied with drawings.\nEducation and Experience\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred\n2 years prior experience preferred\nThis position requires a significant amount of bending and standing\nMust be able to lift at least 75 pounds at any time\nAbility to read wiring schematic\nUL508A and NEC experience\nGood project and time management skills\nMore About Us\nCates Control Systems was founded over 40 years ago and is a systems integration company that partners with manufacturing firms to develop and implement automation solutions to increase production, improve quality and reduce costs.
