(Fulfillment Managers and Supervisors to remain accountable for outcomes)\n\nCoordinate and document annual company and branch EHS goals\n\nLead corporate safety committee monthly review meetings\n\nOperational lead interface with safety partners in conjunction with shop floor employees plus Operations Team\n\nAdvise appropriate leadership on corrective action & disciplinary measures with employees or locations who fail to comply with expected safety standards\n\nPresent key metrics/KPIs at daily Gemba team meetings\n\nManage incident reports in collaborations with Operations Team and ensure all near misses, first aids, and recordables are accounted for and reported in a timely manner to senior leaders in the organization\n\nCompliance & Policy Management (Location Specific)\n\nDevelop, implement, and continuously improve EHS policies, procedures, and training programs aligned with CAL-OSHA, OSHA, EPA, DOT and applicable state and local regulations.\n\nEnsure company-wide compliance with all Federal, State and Local environmental, health, and safety laws and reporting requirements.\n\nMonitor regulatory changes and proactively adjust programs to maintain compliance.\n\nAudit, Risk & Incident Management\n\nPlan and conduct regular on-site and virtual EHS audits and inspections.\n\nIdentify hazards, assess risk, and drive corrective and preventive action plans to implement mitigation controls.\n\nConduct follow-up investigations to ensure hazards and deficiencies are addressed and mitigated\n\nLead or assist local teams in their incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation.\n\nAudit and recommend updates to internal documentation, Safety records and programs for adherence and improvement as needed.\n\nAnalyze safety metrics and trends to support data‑driven decision‑making.\n\nDevelop and manage location specific emergency response and disaster recovery plans\n\nAssist with the new locations, equipment installs, high‑risk tasks or projects that are being performed or planned. Assist with the planning, documentation, and equipment to ensure safe work practices.\n\nEnsure proper safety equipment and PPE is being procured and utilized - investigate new and improved equipment/PPE as needed.\n\nPerform Equipment and Preventative Maintenance Audits to ensure compliance of inspections and proper maintenance requirements\n\nTraining & Communication\n\nDesign and deliver safety training programs, standardized onboarding and workshops across all locations.\n\nCommunicate EHS initiatives, performance metrics, and risk assessments to senior leadership.\n\nServe as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, third‑party auditors, and external partners.\n\nContinuous Improvement & Sustainability\n\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce environmental impact and improve workplace health and safety.\n\nBenchmark against industry best practices and implement scalable improvements across sites.\n\nParticipate in continuous learning initiatives for operational safety and environmental improvements.\n\nQualifications\nEducation\n\nHigh School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field preferred.\n\nExperience\n\n4-7+ years of progressive EHS experience, including 2-3 years in a leadership or multi‑site role overseeing a team of 2+ direct reports\n\nDemonstrated experience in regulatory compliance, audits, incident investigation, and risk management.\n\nExperience in manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or distribution environments strongly preferred.\n\nMulti‑site, aerospace, or national experience highly desirable.\n\nSalary Range:\n\nThe base pay range for this position in California is $140,000 - $165,000+/year.
