Server - Seasonal

This position will be responsible for ensuring that each guest receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging guests, maintaining solid product knowledge, providing assistance, and making suggestions to guests regarding product decisions.COMPANY BENEFITS:401K AccessTravel Discounts through IHGOutstanding Company CultureESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS: Greets all guests and provides outstanding customer serviceWill assist guests with cash, room, and credit card transactionsPerforms food-handling and service dutiesAnswers questions relating to all F&B productsServing guests in pool areas, indoors in the restaurant, and completing multiple deliveries of food orders throughout the propertyAny other tasks that may be assignedEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or GEDCash-handling experience preferredServing experience with a sense of urgency and accuracyCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:Food Handler's and an alcohol awareness card are required within 30 days of employmentQUALIFICATIONS:Must be at least 21 years oldMust have a valid driver's license with a minimum of one year of driving experienceMinimum one year of serving experience required, more is a plusFood delivery experience desiredMust have superior guest relations skills and the ability to answer guest inquiriesMust have the ability to be trained on cash handling functions and be comfortable using POS computers for inputting transactionsMust have demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skillsMust have comprehensive menu knowledge with the ability to up-sell itemsMust be able to clearly speak, write, and understand the English languageMust be able to work in a high-volume, high-demand work environmentMust be able to work outside in extreme weather conditionsAt Holiday Inn Club Vacations, we believe in strengthening families.
