With over 750 clients nationwide and a powerful presence in markets like Georgia, Texas, Maryland, and Alaska, JSI empowers rural and regional broadband providers to expand, evolve, and excel in a rapidly shifting digital world.\n\nPosition Overview:\nAs a Network Engineer, you will assist JSI’s clients with the design, implementation and troubleshooting of IP Broadband networks.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nAnalyzing and designing IP broadband and telecommunications networks for ISPs.\nImplementing network designs and configuring network equipment/related systems.\nDirectly working with ISPs to troubleshoot issues in existing networks.\nConsulting on network stability, resiliency and cybersecurity for service providers.\nDocumenting and diagraming networks, relevant processes and troubleshooting steps.\nCommunicating technical concepts in clear and understandable manner.\nKeeping up with industry developments, new technologies and best practices.\nImproving knowledge and expertise through independent research, practice, and industry-accepted certifications.\n\nQualifications\n\nRequired:\nComputer/Management Information Systems or similar bachelor’s degrees are preferred for the Specialist role. Minimum GPA 3.5.\nEngineering or Computer Science degrees are required for the Network Engineer role.
