Primary Multicategorical Teacher

Wood Memorial Primary School is seeking a K-5 Multicategorical Classroom Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a special education position designed to meet the academic and behavioral needs of students with a wide range of abilities. This teacher would be responsible for adapting curriculum, creating Individualized Education Plans, and collaborating with general education teachers, as well as parents, to ensure each student is given a quality educational experience.Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Special EducationJob ResponsibilitiesDesign and deliver individualized instruction tailored to the diverse needs of studentsAttend to and teach daily functional and social skillsApply behavior intervention strategies and develop individualized behavior plans when necessaryFoster a safe, inclusive, and structured classroom environmentDraft and implement legally compliant IEPSConduct regular assessments to monitor student progressProvide guidance and resources to support general education teachersSupervise, guide, and direct the daily activities of instructional aides and paraprofessionalsMaintain confidentialitySalary is Dependent Upon Experience.
