ERP Administrator (NetSuite)

Role: ERP Administrator (NetSuite Focus)Position Type: Direct HireLocation: SW Portland - 100% OnsiteCompensation: $90,000-$120,000 DOE OverviewOur client is looking for an ERP professional to take full ownership of their NetSuite platform and ensure it supports operational growth across finance, supply chain, warehouse operations, and commercial teams. The ideal candidate brings deep NetSuite expertise, strong understanding of financial processes, and hands‑on experience with tools such as SPS Commerce (EDI) and RF‑Smart within a distribution or manufacturing environment.This individual will serve as the internal NetSuite authority and collaborate closely with cross‑functional stakeholders and external partners to drive system performance and process optimization. Key ResponsibilitiesNetSuite Administration & System OwnershipManage daily NetSuite administration including roles, permissions, workflows, saved searches, dashboards, and reporting.Maintain and optimize modules such as GL, AP/AR, Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management, and Advanced Inventory.Oversee release management, sandbox testing, platform upgrades, and validation cycles.Develop and maintain documentation for system configuration and administrative processes.Finance & Accounting SupportSupport financial operations including revenue processes, costing, inventory valuation, and GL data integrity.Build and refine financial reports for leadership, auditors, and compliance use.Ensure system workflows align with accounting principles and internal control standards.EDI Integration (SPS Commerce)Administer and troubleshoot EDI transactions and mappings via SPS Commerce.Work with trading partners and internal departments to maintain accurate data exchange.Monitor EDI workflows, resolve exceptions, and ensure smooth operational flow.Warehouse Operations & RF‑Smart SupportConfigure and support RF‑Smart within NetSuite.Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies, transaction errors, and data flow issues.Lead RF‑Smart upgrades, testing cycles, and enhancement initiatives.Cross‑System Integrations & Technical CollaborationPartner with external consultants, implementation teams, and internal stakeholders.Support integrations with platforms such as eCommerce (Shopify), WMS, CRM, 3PLs, and BI tools.Contribute to system evaluations, data migrations, and implementation projects.Reporting, Data Management & Process ImprovementDevelop operational and financial dashboards to support business insight and decision‑making.Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and streamline workflows.Translate business requirements into scalable system configurations.Support audit activities and periodic system reviews. Required Qualifications5+ years of hands‑on NetSuite administration experience.Strong understanding of accounting workflows (GL, AP/AR, inventory accounting).Ability to read and modify existing SuiteScripts.Proficient with saved searches, workflows, and process automations.Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to trace issues across scripts, workflows, and record flows.Background in manufacturing, distribution, or consumer products.Effective communicator with both technical and non‑technical teams. Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting or administering SPS Commerce (EDI).Hands‑on experience with RF‑Smart in warehouse/inventory environments.NetSuite SuiteFoundation or Administrator certification.Familiarity with BOMs, routings, or demand planning.Exposure to Shopify, 3PL integrations, or advanced inventory features.Experience supporting audits or internal control frameworks.Participation in NetSuite implementations or major rollouts.
