Role Overview: As a Kitchen Manager, you'll play a vital role in overseeing all aspects of our back-of-house operations, including food preparation, line production, and purchasing. What We Value: Culinary Experience: Proven experience in food preparation, production, and leading a team to execute recipes and uphold best practices. Food Safety and Standards: Meets or exceeds industry standards for food preparation, serving, and storage. Food Manager Certification is preferred. Attention to Detail: Diligently complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and maintenance tasks. Team Development: Actively participate in hiring, training, and developing team members, including ongoing education. Safety Leadership: Uphold and enforce all safety and sanitary practices and ensure regulatory compliance in the back-of-house. Key Responsibilities: Kitchen Organization and Maintenance: Oversee and maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, including prep stations, dishwashing areas, and storage spaces. Operational Leadership: Lead and manage kitchen operations during opening or closing shifts, ensuring readiness for service. Preparation and Planning: Assist in creating daily prep lists and collaborate with the Chef to maintain accurate inventory and pars. Product Management: Assist with product ordering, receiving, and inventory management to ensure consistent quality and availability. Training and Mentorship: Provide leadership in training and mentoring new team members, fostering a learning environment. Flexibility and Team Support: Be adaptable and ready to take on any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the Chef, Managing Partner, or Regional Leadership.
