Monitor database performance, implement changes and improvements, and provide strategic solutions that align with business requirements. Design and implement database backup, recovery, and failover strategies to ensure optimal data protection and availability. Collaborate within the team on capacity planning, disk space management, redundancy/HA, change management, and overall database operations—mentor team members with less advanced database skills.
