Product assembly will differ based on business needs and will be assembled at a workstation rather than an assembly line. The ideal assembler will be mechanically inclined with a strong working knowledge of blueprints, hand and power tools.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities: The responsibilities listed below are not intended to be all-inclusive.\nPositions parts according to the work order and blueprints.\nFastens parts together with bolts, screws, clips, rivets or other fasteners.\nOperates hand drills, tool and rivet machines to assist in assembly operations.\nRecords all labor and downtime, documenting all information pertaining to each work order and routing.\nHelps maintain all company safety regulations to provide a clean, accident-free and healthy work environment.\nVerification of the fit, function and cosmetics meet or exceed Company quality expectations.\nConfers with the team or crew leaders on any problems regarding safety, quality, production or inventory issues.\nAdditional duties may be assigned on an as required basis.\n\nQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\n\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent.\nMust possess basic math skills and ability to accurately read a tape measure.\nLANGUAGE SKILLS:\nAbility to read, analyze and interpret the English language.\nAssociates must have the ability to communicate internally and externally effectively and efficiently.\nREASONING ABILITY:\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints.\nPractical problem solving that can occur during the assembly process.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nFrequent manual and finger dexterity required by the daily use of hand tools.\nMust be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.\nAbility to bend, stretch, twist, reach, crouch, or kneel.\nCapable of lifting 50 pounds regularly.\nAdditional Job Information:\nThe environment is active and fast-paced.
