This role is crucial for driving excellence in our software solutions, impacting global teams, and enhancing product quality and engineer satisfaction. The successful candidate will manage technical direction, support migrations, and foster strong collaboration across international teams, including our colleagues in the US and Japan.\nResponsibilities:\nLead a team of software engineers and devops engineers in designing, building, and maintaining advanced CI/CD pipelines and containerization solutions, with a special focus on tools that enhance testing efficiency across functional, performance, and reliability testing.\nProvide leadership and support for all tools developed by the team, ensuring they meet operational standards and continuously enhance user satisfaction.\nManage onboarding and migration of systems to incorporate advanced testing methodologies and tools, ensuring high adaptability and minimal disruption.\nCoordinate with our Indian team and Japan team to ensure seamless communication and synchronization of project goals and timelines, enhancing cross-functional team collaboration.\nStrategically plan project executions and resource allocations and meeting tight deadlines.\nRegularly assess team performance, providing feedback and developmental opportunities to promote career growth and operational excellence.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\nMinimum of 8 years of experience in software development, including at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing engineering teams.\nExceptional problem-solving, technical, analytical abilities.\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of managing and inspiring a team to achieve high performance and innovation.\nStrong understanding of CICD standard methodologies and familiar with tools used in CICD pipeline: such as Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory, Maven, Gradle, and SonarQube\nExtensive expertise of Docker, Kubernetes, and modern containerization technologies.\nExpertise in major programming languages such as Groovy, Golang, Java.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with large-scale distributed systems\nExperience with software system design\nExperience with public cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP\nExperience with networking, storage, logging, monitoring, tracing and alert\n#LI-KS1\nEqual Opportunity Statement:\nSony is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
