To succeed in this role, you will manage finance operations for two individual sites, partner with the site directors of each site in driving the annual operating plan, and provide value added analysis to the local leadership teams.\nThis role's duties will require leading with integrity and reliability and having the ability to manage self and others with urgency, practicality, and accountability. This position is for a creative team player with a talent for challenging the status quo, unique ideas, and influence.\nThe role also requires the above to be accomplished within Tecomet's principles of continuous improvement, customer-driven innovation, and a win-first culture, while meeting company financial and other performance metrics.\nPrinciple Responsibilities\nPrepare financial statements in compliance with GAAP\nCreation and analysis of financial information and performance metrics to facilitate decision making\nAdminister the monthly close process, with focus on streamlining processes, driving efficiencies and automation\nSpend reporting, partnering with Operations to ensure planned spend levels do not exceed commitments, while relentlessly identifying cost improvement opportunities\nInventory analytics\nPartner with the site directors and local leadership teams to evaluate the best deployment of capital and resources to drive the most growth and ROI for the business\nPeriodic review of labor and overhead rates to ensure appropriateness for inventory valuation, as well as quoting efforts\nCross-functional support in S&OP efforts\nLiaise with external audit team, driving local efforts in meeting audit team requests\nOversee the site fixed asset system\nAdminister Continuous Improvement Program cost savings analytics\nAssist in commercial opportunity financial analytics, ensuring future opportunities drive profitable growth\nDaily / Weekly / Monthly KPI reporting\nCash-flow maximization mindset, focusing on working capital reduction and opportunities to improve\nFormulate weekly flash reporting\nBudget development, monthly forecasting\nEvaluate, assess, document, implement and maintain internal controls to ensure risks are eliminated\nCustomer and product level profitability analytics\nPerforms other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by supervisor\nQualification Requirements\nCredentials/Experience:\nBachelor's degree (B.A.) in Accounting or Finance\nMinimum 5 years of progressive and related professional experience, minimum 3 years within manufacturing\nExperience/Educational/Training Preferred:\nCPA Certificate preferred\nMBA Degree preferred\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nKnowledge of US GAAP\nCost accounting\nStrong communication skills, both verbally and in writing\nProven analytical skills - defining problems, collecting relevant data, drawing valid conclusions, and recommending improvement/corrective actions\nAbility and willingness to meet business critical deadlines\nHigh attention to detail\nTakes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities\nExperience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus\nAdvanced Excel skills\nOther Requirements\nWork Environment\nThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
