This role requires a strategic problem solver who can drive enterprise-level programs, mentor project teams, and partner effectively with business and technology leaders.\nThe day-to-day:\nLead large-scale, complex programs across multiple business units, including technology, operations, and enterprise functions.\nDevelop and manage program plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and risk management plans.\nEnsure alignment with organizational strategy, helping to develop and achieve Objectives and Key Results.\nParticipate in portfolio reviews to ensure alignment and prioritization of initiatives.\nTrack benchmarks, balanced scorecards, and performance metrics to support data-driven decision-making.\nCollaborate with internal partners and external vendors to define requirements and deliver solutions.\nManage vendor contracts, performance, and relationships.\nForecast and manage project budgets and procurement activities.\nPromote standard processes in project methodology, Agile, SDLC, and managing organizational transitions.\nSupport the development and rollout of PMO policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.\nDrive process improvements related to project intake, prioritization, solution evaluation, and organizational change management.\nWhat you'll need:\n10+ years of experience in IT project and program management.\nDemonstrated success managing enterprise-level programs with cross-functional partners.\nStrong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and digital transformation.\nExperience with portfolio reporting, SLA and benchmark development and management.\nProven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resource capacity.\nExcellent communication, leadership, and partner management skills.\nExperience with tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Monday.com, AdaptiveWork.\nExperience with cloud migrations, AI implementations, or other enterprise data initiatives.\nWhat will help you on the job:\nExperience working or managing projects governed by the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF).\nExperience in financial management (capital planning, return on investment, make/buy analysis, and similar financial activities).\nITIL v4 Foundation, Lean Six Sigma or related certificate.\nPMP, PgMP, or ACP certificate desired.\nSalary range: $119,000.00 - $188,500.00 / annually. For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $148,500.00- $222,500.00/ annually : At Viasat, we consider many factors when it comes to compensation, including the scope of the position as well as your background and experience. Base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional cash or stock incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
