The ideal candidate should be passionate about hair styling and have excellent communication skills to provide exceptional customer service. *Duties* - Perform hair braiding services for clients - Provide hair threading and styling services - Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs - Mentor and train junior staff members in hair braiding techniques - Utilize MINDBODY software for appointment scheduling and client management - Assist with front desk duties as needed - Offer makeup application services - Upsell products and services to clients *Skills* - Proficiency in hair braiding techniques - Strong communication and customer service skills - Experience in hair threading and styling - Ability to mentor and train others - Familiarity with MINDBODY software is a plus - Knowledge of front desk operations - Makeup application skills for additional services - Upselling abilities to promote products and services Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $12.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Schedule: Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Supplemental Pay: Commission pay Retention bonus Tips Experience: MINDBODY: 1 year (Required) Hair styling: 1 year (Required) Front desk: 1 year (Required) Customer service: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: Cosmetology License (Required) Work Location: In person
