{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"4de9c13087b9e7436220159d","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/4de9c13087b9e7436220159d","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/4de9c13087b9e7436220159d","title":"Data Analyst (SQL/SSRS)","description":"Location: *Columbia, SC *\n\n100% On-Site\n\n*The Opportunity*\n\nMCLOUD TECHNOLOGY is seeking a Data Analyst with SQL& SSRS experience to support the enterprise IT service desk of a federal partner.\n\nThis role focuses on measuring and improving quality: validating services, processes, metrics, and customer satisfaction, and turning data into reports and recommendations that drive improvement.\n\nStrong T-SQL and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) skills are required.\n\nThis role requires *at least one year of IT help desk support experience in a Windows Active Directory environment*, along with strong database reporting and analytical skills.\n\n*What You’ll Do*\n\n· Write simple to complex T-SQL queries against Microsoft SQL Server databases and data warehouses.\n\n· Design, develop, test, and maintain SSRS reports using current and historical data.\n\n· Analyze service desk processes, performance metrics, customer satisfaction, and recurring incidents.\n\n· Validate data accuracy and consistency, investigate discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.\n\n· Work with analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate findings.\n\n· Develop quality assurance standards and procedures that improve service quality, readiness, and availability.\n\n· Conduct technical evaluations of assigned support personnel and document findings.\n\n· Support systems documentation, process improvements, and the implementation of solutions to recurring problems.\n\n*Required Qualifications*\n\n· Either *at least three years of IT experience* or a *four-year degree in an IT-related field*.\n\n· *At least one year of IT help desk support experience in a Windows Active Directory environment*.\n\n· *2–4 years of technical support experience*, as specified in the SOW.\n\n· *1–2 years of experience with relational database queries, transactions, and stored procedures using SQL Server 2019*.\n\n· Demonstrated experience designing, creating, testing, and implementing SSRS reports.\n\n· Ability to write simple, intermediate, and complex T-SQL queries.\n\n· Strong understanding of relational database concepts and practices.\n\n· Strong quantitative, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.\n\nThe degree alternative applies to the overall IT experience requirement. Candidates must also meet the technical support and database experience requirements above.\n\n*Additional Skills Used in This Role*\n\nData validation, statistical analysis and sampling, trend investigation, inspection and testing, technical evaluation, and the application of specifications and policy guidance to quality assurance activities.
