For more information or questions, please call: 605-321-7493Additional Information:• Anderson Landscaping is in Sioux Falls; SD; phone: 605-360-1195• Work will be performed in multiple worksites throughout South Dakota in the Lincoln,Minnehaha, Lake, Hanson, Moody, Miner, McCook, and Turner counties.• Anderson Landscaping is solely involved in landscaping and grounds keeping work oncommercial and residential landscaping projects. The type of work that Landscapers andgroundskeepers will engage in is a non-agricultural type of work. These include, but are notlimited to, landscaping or maintaining grounds of property using hands, power tools, orother equipment used in the landscaping profession. The workers typically perform varioustasks, including sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking,sprinkler installation, and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units.Workers may also gather and remove litter and use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes,pruning saws, hedges or bush trimmers, or axes. Workers may also operate vehicles orpowered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, snowblowers, chain saws,electric clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws. The workers may also water lawns, trees, orplants using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, and watering cans, prune or trim trees,shrubs, or hedges, using shears and pruners, or chainsaws. Workers must be able to lift,push, pull or carry up to 50 lbs.• There are eight (6) openings for Landscaping and Groundskeepers for temporary, full-timeemployment.• Workers will be paid no less than $16.41 per/hour and $24.62 for all hours worked over 40hours in one workweek; returning workers may be paid a higher wage rate due toexperience, location, and merit. Overtime may be available but not guaranteed.• Workers must have at least three months of experience in landscape techniques.• The employer will provide on-the-job training to use equipment and safety techniquesproperly.• Employer will offer 40 hours per week, Monday thru Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm;depending on weather conditions, work on Saturdays may be required.• Workers are needed to begin work on 04/01/2024 through 12/15/2024.• The employer will assist the workers with housing accommodations by helping them contactlocal rental agencies.• The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workerswill be paid bi-weekly by check. The employer will make all deductions from the worker’spaycheck required by law. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, theemployer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from recruitment tothe place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissedearlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of returntransportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed towork, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with anotheremployer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntaryabandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursementwill be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distancesinvolved. Daily meals will be provided at a rate of at least $15.46 p/day during travel to amaximum of $59.00 p/day with receipts.• The employer will provide daily transportation to and from the job site by providing the workerswith a vehicle. Workers will be able to use the vehicle for personal use, and the maintenance,fuel, and insurance will be maintained by the employer.• The employer will provide workers at no charge with all tools, supplies, and equipmentrequired to perform the job.• Workers will be provided daily transportation to and from the designated pick-up locationat the Sioux Falls, SD main office.
