Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA)Location: 1495 Pine Ridge Rd, Suite 4, Naples, FLCompensation: $20$23 per hour DOEBenefits: Medical, Dental, 401(k), 7 Paid Holidays, PTOPosition Summary:We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) to provide high-quality clinical and administrative support to our providers. This role supports patient care in outpatient and hospital settings, ensuring efficient workflow, accurate documentation, and compassionate service.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct patient intakes, including vital signs, medical history, and medication/allergy reviewAssist providers with exams, minor procedures, wound care, and diagnostic testingPerform EKGs, immunizations, and specimen collection per competency standardsPrepare, label, and process lab samples and point-of-care testsMaintain infection control, safety protocols, and equipment calibrationSupport patient triage, care coordination, and transitions between care settingsProvide patient education on medications, treatment plans, and preventive careDocument clinical data and provider instructions in the EHR accuratelySchedule and track appointments, referrals, authorizations, and test resultsVerify insurance coverage and assist with prior authorizations and billing needsMaintain exam rooms, supplies, and clinical inventoryParticipate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and safety drillsFacilitate communication between patients, providers, and care teamsUphold HIPAA, OSHA, and all compliance standardsDeliver compassionate, culturally competent care to diverse patient populationsPerform other related duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredCertified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) requiredGraduate of an accredited Medical Assistant programActive certification and ongoing continuing educationBasic Life Support (BLS) certification requiredClinical or internship experience preferredBilingual (English/Spanish) preferredFamiliarity with EHR systems preferredSkilled in vital signs, EKGs, and routine diagnostic proceduresKnowledge of infection control, sterile technique, and universal precautionsStrong documentation, medical terminology, and scheduling skillsAbility to multitask, follow workflows, and maintain confidentialityExcellent communication, customer service, and teamwork abilitiesProfessionalism and accountability aligned with organizational valuesAbility to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environmentPhysical RequirementsSedentary work with occasional lifting up to 10 lbs; ability to lift up to 15 lbs independentlyFrequent repetitive motions of hands, wrists, and fingersVisual acuity for data entry, documentation, and computer useEqual Employment Opportunity MPG is committed to equal employment opportunities.
