We are currently in need of 1st Class Marine Structural Welders to join our team in\r\nJob Description\r\n\r\n5 years of shipyard experience.\r\nExperience flux core welding in 2G, 3G, and 4G positions.\r\nMust be able to read blueprints and other engineering drawings.\r\nMust be able to read and interrupt technical manuals as applicable.\r\nTack weld clips and brackets in to place prior to permanent welding.\r\nFabricate, align, and assemble structural parts such as plates, bulkheads, and frames.\r\nAbility to comprehend blueprints, sketches, weld symbols, material types, and templates.\r\nMust have a thorough knowledge of various metals characteristics and qualities including the correct welding processes required and the effects of welding on the material.\r\n\r\nJob Requirements\r\n\r\nSolid understanding of shipbuilding and/or manufacturing processes.\r\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\r\nExperience welding with a backstrap.\r\nAbility to weld 120 feet per day.\r\nMust be able to read blueprints.\r\nMust be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.\r\nMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds on your own.\r\n10-Panel drug screen.\r\nMust be a U.S Citizen and provide a birth certificate or passport.\r\n\r\nCTS, LLC offers a comprehensive benefit packet to eligible employees.
