Builds shelves/cabinets/etc. as needed. Minor landscaping as required. Painting walls and furniture as needed. Minor plumbing repairs.Lean Initiatives - Observes company processes and makes recommendations for improvement. Participates in continuous improvement projects.Other - Maintains adherence to company policies, environmental and safety standards, and good housekeeping standards. May be required to assist or otherwise instruct other personnel. Must possess a valid driver's license. Perform other duties as may be required. Attendance is an essential function of the job.QualificationsEducation/Experience - High School graduate or demonstration of equivalent skills. Experience in carpentry and painting required. Must be capable of using hand tools & electric saws safely. Minor plumbing skills a plus. Knowledge of general facility & property maintenance and cleaning. Must be a steady, reliable worker. Must be able to perform simple tasks independently after being given specific instructions.Physical Requirements - Physically able to lift, bend, stoop, climb and reach. Prolonged and frequent standing. Ability to lift objects from lower to a higher position or moving horizontally from position-to-position.
