If you believe this opportunity is right for you, we welcome you to apply today!Who We WantMiller Industries is seeking a BIM Modeler – Applications to work in our Flex Air Division in Fenton, MI or El Paso, TX. The BIM Modeler will play a pivotal role in utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes as well as modeling large mechanical pipe systems. This position requires expertise in Autodesk Revit, Plant3D/AutoCAD, and SolidWorks to ensure the successful integration, collaboration, and execution of 3D models and project data. On the Applications team, the BIM Modeler will support the application engineering team with 3D modeling, pipe routing, and piping takeoffs to support estimation of projects.What You Will Be DoingWork with the Flex Air sales team (applications, estimating, and sales) on generating 3D models of mechanical systems to support bids and estimation.Read and interpret P&ID diagrams.Generate 3D designs from high level 2D drawings produced by the application team.Model with equipment, valves, fittings, and routing.Use models to support the estimating team generate quotes and pipe takeoffs.Work closely with Applications and Sales to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.What You Get PaidThe position pays a competitive hourly rate.
