Site Assistant

Function: Under direct supervision, the Site Assistant will perform various physical tasks to support construction operations and ensure project timelines are met. This role involves manual labor, including lifting, carrying, and working with tools and machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to safety. Essential Duties and Responsibilities GENERAL Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites Lift heavy loads to 80 lbs. and navigate construction job site terrain Dig pits, trenches, and foundations in preparation for job site construction Back-fill trenches and pits when necessary Operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, hammer, Sawzall, Skilsaw, and a variety of other equipment Perform setup and cleanup tasks at the job site Clean and prepare sites, and clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials Project errands including pick-up and drop off tools and materials Provide labor support as needed for specialty crew Target Chargeable Rate 100% Qualification Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Prior experience in construction or manual labor preferred. Ability to operate basic hand and power tools. Strong physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous tasks.
