You will develop robust, repeatable processes that improve quality, increase throughput, and support the launch of next-generation products.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead process development and optimization initiatives for cable assembly and termination technologies, including laser welding, resistance welding, induction soldering, and other advanced joining methods.\nDesign and execute structured problem-solving experiments using DOE, 8D, 5 Whys, Six Sigma DMAIC, and other analytical methodologies.\nEstablish process windows, manufacturing standards, best practices, and work instructions that improve consistency, scalability, and operational efficiency.\nDevelop validation, qualification, and process control strategies to ensure products are production-ready and capable of meeting demanding customer requirements.\nAnalyze manufacturing data using statistical tools and software such as Minitab and Excel to identify opportunities for quality and yield improvements.\nDrive root cause investigations and implement sustainable corrective actions that reduce variation and improve process capability.\nPartner with suppliers and technology providers to evaluate and implement emerging manufacturing technologies.\nCollaborate with product development, engineering, quality, and operations teams to ensure new products and processes transition smoothly into manufacturing.\nServe as a subject matter expert for process performance, providing technical guidance across the organization.\nPresent project updates, recommendations, and technical findings to stakeholders and leadership teams.\nWhat Makes You Successful\nYou are a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving difficult manufacturing challenges through experimentation, analysis, and collaboration.
