Our goal is to enable teams to keep focused on their business goals by providing simple, scalable solutions with off the shelf tools and the right amount of focused engineering. We’re looking to expand our Container Infrastructure team. In this role you work closely with other teams and trading desks to ensure the performance and reliability of our Kubernetes platform. The platform is large: hundreds of clusters, thousands of nodes, and dozens of components. Common day-two tasks include development of new components, monitoring costs, and ensuring compute consumption for each desk is optimized. As a member of this team you will help administer the platform, engage with internal customers and infrastructure stakeholders to ensure the platform remains reliable, performant, and cost-effective.\nOur philosophy:\n\nWe believe in relentless automation of repetitive tasks.\nWe have the curiosity and drive to dig deep and find creative solutions.\nWe believe our goal is to find the right solution rather than always being right.\nWe provide exceptional customer service to our teams and trading desks.\nWe care more that the right thing is done than about rigid job descriptions or boundaries.\n\nWhat you’ll do:\n\nWork with different business units to ensure a successful onboarding and deployment of applications into DRW’s Kubernetes platform.\nRelentlessly automate repetitive manual tasks.\nProvide exceptional customer service to our platform’s users.\nSolve complex problems, build new features/components, get to work every day with exceptionally talented and curious coworkers.\n\nYour background:\n\nExperience working with or administering Kubernetes Clusters.\nKnowledge of networking, storage, and containerization fundamentals.\nFamiliarity with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform.\nA service focused attitude: you ask questions and focus on getting the right resources and solutions to people instead of rigid boundaries.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills. You can work across teams and have evidence‑based discussions on technical and operational topics.\nYou are eager to learn, collaborate, and find solutions under interesting constraints.\n\nBonus points if you have:\n\nExperience with common Kubernetes operators (Flux, Fluentbit, Fluentd, Prometheus, etc.).\nExperience administering on-premise infrastructure.\nExperience developing, deploying, and supporting full stack web applications.\nExperience with multiple programming languages in both greenfield development and legacy maintenance.\n\nThe annual base salary range for this position is $180,000 to $210,000 depending on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and relevant skill set. The position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
