Technical Project Manager
ITCON Services is seeking to hire a motivated and knowledgeable Technical Project Manager to support Enterprise Operations and Facilities project management activities. The project manager will work in a full-time capacity to support tasks related to:Data center migrationFacilities managementServer and storage managementServer and storage deploymentServer and storage migrationIT services documentation and rolloutCloud assessments, implementations & migrationsResponsibilities will include:Defining requirements, scope of work, and architecturesTailoring and applying program management and systems engineering processesLeading and defending technical and programmatic decisionsDeveloping, managing, and defending cost and scheduleConducting acquisition planning and source selectionDriving task completionAs part of the organizational project management framework, the project manager will be expected to:Execute, and close projects assigned by Enterprise Operations and Facilities that meet or exceed objectivesCreate clear and attainable project objectives, build project requirements, and manage constraints of cost, time, scope, and qualityDevelop project plans, milestones and manage project operationsManage project stakeholders, project team, project risk, project schedule, project budget, and project conflictsEnsure team members know and execute their respective roles and the roles of the other team membersEnsure production schedules are met and system resources are used effectivelyCoordinate resolution of production-related problemsEnsure proper relationships are established between customers, teaming partners, and vendors to facilitate the delivery of information technology services.At ITCON, we offer competitive compensation, paid training and development opportunities, healthcare benefits that start on your first day, commuter benefits, work-life balance, and the opportunity to work alongside an amazing and growing team.This opening is for a full-time salaried position. The position is located at the client site in Washington, DC; some work may be performed off-site with approval and at the discretion of the customer POC. Applicant must be clearable for Public Trust clearance with the U.S Government.Required Skills and QualificationsThe offeror's response should identify how the candidate meets the below minimum qualifications requirements:US citizenship required. This position requires reporting to Washington DC and regular travel to offices in Northern VA.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (+10 years) in one of the following fields or related studies: Engineering; Computer Science; Information SystemsPMP, Agile, Lean and/or ITIL-trained and/or certifiedExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to work independently and in a groupExperience as a technical project managerSelf-starter attitude with initiative & creativityProject Management Software ExperiencePowerPoint, Excel, Spreadsheet SoftwareExperience using ClickUp project management softwareContractor must pass background checks to obtain a U.S. House of Representatives vendor badge. The time spent obtaining a badge is not billable.Desired Qualifications:Understanding of Change Management Systems, Process and DocumentationUnderstanding of IT security (Nessus, Risk Management Framework & Security Policies)Understanding of BCDR principles & documentation (Contingency Plans; Continuity of Operations; Failover Testing)Understanding of Data center layout and designsKnowledge of Hybrid, Private & Public Clouds
