Candidates with strong planning experience and knowledge of electrical substations are highly preferred.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDevelop detailed work plans and project schedules for substation maintenance and construction activities.\n\nCoordinate labor, materials, equipment, and contractor resources to support planned work.\n\nEnsure all work packages are complete, accurate, and ready for execution.\n\nCollaborate with operations, engineering, construction, and field personnel to identify work scope and planning requirements.\n\nReview drawings, specifications, procedures, and work instructions to support project execution.\n\nTrack project and maintenance activities, providing updates on schedule, resource needs, and potential risks.\n\nSupport outage planning and coordination activities as required.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve planning processes, work efficiency, and resource utilization.\n\nMaintain compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and regulatory standards.\n\nAttend weekly team meetings at the Plainfield headquarters location.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nAssociate's degree and relevant industry experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nExperience in utility operations, maintenance planning, construction planning, project coordination, or a related field.\n\nKnowledge of project scheduling, work management, and resource planning principles.\n\nStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n2+ years of planning experience within the electric utility industry.\n\nExperience supporting substation maintenance and/or substation construction projects.\n\nConstruction management experience.\n\nFamiliarity with utility work management systems.\n\nKnowledge of electrical substation equipment, operations, and maintenance practices.\n\nExperience coordinating field crews, contractors, and project stakeholders.\n\nWork Location\n\nCandidates should be located within a reasonable commuting distance of the following service areas:\n\nPlainfield, IN (weekly onsite meetings required)\n\nColumbus, IN\n\nShelbyville, IN\n\nConnersville, IN\n\nAbout US Tech Solutions:\nUS Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
