This position reports to the General Manager. Reporting to the Superintendent are field General Foreman, Foremen and Mechanics.\n\nLeads field operations for drywall and cleanroom scopes. Ensures work is installed safely, on schedule, and to specification while coordinating crews, subcontractors, and project partners.\n\nResponsibilities:\nResponsible for selecting, hiring, terminating and managing the field labor force to ensure contract work is completed within budget hours for maximum profit\nEnsure that the most appropriate techniques and practices are employed in the installation of all jobs to reduce costs without compromising safety and quality. Assure installation in accordance with plans and specifications.\nSchedule labor and material on contracts secured.\nMaintain control of contracts-in-progress.\nDevelop proper union relationships and developing a strong loyal field workforce.\nActively involved in local union(s), builder associations, JATCs to build solid relationships.\nAccountable for results to meet business objectives for revenue and margin.\nPromote a positive culture of safety and monitor/enforce all best practices, including conducting tool box safety meetings and job site safety inspections.\nAwareness of contract requirements which may affect labor, schedule, productivity or safety.\nProvide primary field labor force interface with branch personnel.\nBuild solid customer relations with all customers.\nUses available technology to perform job tasks efficiently.\nCreates strong morale and spirit in his/her team and defines success in terms of the whole team\nAttends monthly Branch meetings and reports the status of all contracts-in-progress, recognize and report any deviations from plans and specifications and assist in pricing.\nTrack production, document progress, and provide accurate daily reports.\n\nRequirements\nMinimum 5 years’ experience as a superintendent in the construction industry.\nStrong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and shop details.\nProficient in Windows operating systems and associated software.\nAbility to work with numerous contractors and sub-contractors in an efficient manner.\nStrong ability to read, understand and interpret specifications and drawings for PCI’s scopes of work.\nAbility to use basic digital tools for documentation (daily reports, RFIs, scheduling platforms).\nHigh safety performance with well‑coordinated, motivated crews.\nOSHA 30 Certification.\n\nPreferred\nBilingual – Spanish / English\n\nBenefits\n\nAt Performance Contracting, our employees are our greatest asset.
