Our aspiration is to provide packaging solutions that customers and end-consumers feel great about using.\nRole: Process Engineer\nReports to: Process Engineering Lead\nBusiness Unit: Engineering\nLocation: Las Vegas, NV\nFLSA: Exempt\nRole Summary:\nAs a Process Engineer you will participate in the full life cycle of novel and innovative manufacturing processes and equipment. Your role will focus on testing, deployment and continuous improvement projects. You will also collaborate with the team on the invention, prototyping, development, installation, and testing of processes and mechanical systems. At all times, you will provide safety leadership by observing and adhering to safety regulations throughput all project phases.\nMajor Responsibilities:\nExperimental design and execution for process and formulation trials\nData collection and analysis\nManufacturing support for process deployment or continuous improvement including night or weekend shifts if required\nWriting and editing SOPs and other process or equipment documentation\nTraining operations team members on SOPs\nCollaborate with operations and R&D on product development testing\nAbility to manage cross functional teams on improvement projects\nRoot cause analysis and risk assessment of manufacturing processes and/or equipment\nProvides commissioning support for new equipment and process changes\nConducts safety and risk assessments for proposed and current equipment and processes\nDemonstrate a continuous learning mindset with a willingness to learn and take on new types of tasks as the business grows\nProvide troubleshooting support to operations and maintenance in instances of upset conditions or machine failures.\nParticipate in on-call Pager Duty system for night shift support.\nExperience and Education:\n3 + years industrial experience in Process Engineering\nBS in Engineering (or related STEM field) or similar professional experience.\nKnowledge and Skills:\nDetail oriented with high sense of urgency and positive attitude\nDevelopment and Application of Statistical Process Control for new processes\nProficient in interacting with SQL databases\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nStrong organizational skills and problem-solving skills\nAble to stay on task with minimal supervision\nAbility to learn new process and develop new skills\nWorks well under pressure and able to meet deadlines\nSelf-motivated to take initiative and able to function independently\nDemonstrated team player with the ability to work cross-functionally\nStrong data analysis and interpretation skills\nPhysical Requirements:\nAble to lift 40 pounds unassisted.\nAble to reach, bend, kneel and climb while performing repetitive tasks\nAbility to work in hot and cold environments\nAble to correctly wear PPE for entire shifts\nAble to react and respond quickly to noises, smells, visual hazards, and alerts\nImportant Notice:\nAt this time, our company will not be engaging with external agencies or third-party vendors for recruitment services.
