The ideal candidate has direct experience working in labs and pharmaceutical plants and understands the unique requirements of clean room environments.\n\nIf you are looking for a clear career path with solid growth opportunities, please apply.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nManage the full project lifecycle for life science facilities including labs, pharmaceutical plants and clean rooms from conceptual design through construction, commissioning and closeout.\nDevelop and review engineering deliverables, specifications, drawings and equipment lists to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.\nCoordinate and oversee contractors, subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams to maintain schedule, budget and quality expectations.\nSupport commissioning, start-up and validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) and collaborate with quality and operations teams to ensure successful turnover.\nEnsure project documentation is complete and maintained, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, punch lists and as-built documentation.\nPerform technical reviews, constructability assessments and risk analyses to mitigate issues and drive timely resolution.\nManage project budgets, forecasts and schedules; prepare regular status reports for stakeholders and senior management.\nMaintain awareness of regulatory and industry requirements relevant to life sciences projects and support compliance with GMP/GLP where applicable.\nEngage with vendors and suppliers to evaluate equipment, obtain bids and manage procurement to meet project timelines.\nPromote continuous improvement in project delivery processes and contribute to lessons learned and best practices.\nUtilize project management tools (Procore experience is a plus) to track progress, manage documents and collaborate with project teams.\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelors degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Biomedical or related Engineering discipline.\n3+ years of hands-on project engineering experience in life science environments, with direct exposure to labs, pharmaceutical plants and clean rooms.\nProven experience managing construction projects, coordinating contractors and delivering projects on schedule and within budget.\nFamiliarity with clean room design, HVAC/utility systems, contamination control and relevant standards.\nStrong technical writing and documentation skills to support commissioning and validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ).\nWorking knowledge of regulatory expectations and quality systems in life sciences; experience with GMP and GLP is highly desirable.\nProficiency with engineering tools (AutoCAD, Revit or similar) and MS Office; experience with Procore or other construction management software is a plus.\nExcellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.\nAbility to travel to job sites as required and to manage multiple projects concurrently.\nProfessional certifications such as PMP or PE and prior experience supporting GMP/GLP validation are desirable but not required.\n\nBenefits\n\nMedical\nDental\nVision\nCompany-paid premiums\n401k matching\nLife insurance\nShort- and long-term disability\nPaid vacation + sick time\n- For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
