The apartment buildings are 4 and 5 story concrete and steel construction buildings.\n\nJob relocation for out of state applicants is available.\n\nJob Summary:\nThe masonry bricklayer is responsible for the construction, repair, and maintenance of structures made from bricks, blocks, and stones. This includes laying bricks and other materials to build walls, partitions, and other structural elements according to specifications and blueprints.\n\nDuties/Responsibilities:\nLay bricks, blocks, and stones according to blueprints, specifications, and construction plans.\nMeasure and mark guidelines for accurate bricklaying.\nUse tools such as levels, plumb bobs, and string lines to ensure precision.\nOperate and maintain masonry tools and equipment, including trowels, chisels, and mixers.\n\nRequirements:\n3+ years of proven experience as a bricklayer.\nProficiency in masonry techniques.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to handle physical labor and strenuous tasks.\nAble to stand and walk project site for extended period of times.\nRegularly talk and/or hear.\nFrequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel.\nOccasionally required to but not limited to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.\nMust be able to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs and work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.\nMust be able to position one-self to work in confined spaces such as trenches, pits, manholes, attics and tunnels.\nMust be able to lift and carry or otherwise move at least 50 pounds regularly/occasionally\nMust be able to respond quickly to sounds.\nMust be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.\nMust be able to see and respond to dangerous situations.\nMust be able to safely climb ladders while carrying up to 40 pounds.\nMust be able to wear personal protective gear most of the day.\nMust be able to work in hot and cold environments and on concrete floors.\nPhysically fit and able to work at heights\nWillingness to work outdoors in harsh weather conditions\nEnsure the work area is clean and organized to improve efficiency and safety\n\nEmployee Benefits:\nHealth, Dental and Vision\nHealth Indemnity and Accident Supplemental Insurance\nShort Term/Long Term Disability – Employer provided\nLife Insurance – Employer provided\n401k and company match\nVacation | Sick | Holidays\nCell Phone/Computer\nWork Boot Allowance\n\nSalary: $30 - $35/hr\n\nSAM Group is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
