This approach allows us to flex inventory across consumption modes, unlock higher profitability, and give consumers ultimate flexibility—all while reducing waste and overproduction.BNTO is part of ViaVia Corporation, and we are a Series B company in the fashion tech space, backed by industry-leading investors including Headline, Notable Capital, Basis Set Ventures, NEA, the AI Fund, and Exor.About the RoleOur Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and managing our facility equipment and systems to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operations within our warehouse. This role supports production uptime by performing preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, equipment inspections, and facility maintenance tasks.The ideal candidate has experience with dry clean and wet clean equipment, conveyor systems, garment processing equipment, electrical and mechanical systems, and general facility maintenance and safety.Roles & Responsibilities includePerform preventative maintenance on conveyors, garment handling systems, boilers, compressors, chillers, presses, washers, dryers, and related equipment.Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize operational downtime.Collaborate with the operations team and external vendors to improve and maintain equipment performance.Inspect machinery for wear, damage, leaks, or unsafe conditions.Follow OSHA regulations and company safety proceduresMaintain lockout/tagout complianceProperly handle chemicals, refrigerants, and maintenance suppliesMaintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and inspection records.Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely.Conduct root cause analysis for recurring equipment failures Replace work or defective parts including belts, bearings, motors, valves, sensors, and switchesEnsure facility cleanliness and organization.Support emergency repairs during operational hoursAssist with installation and commissioning of new equipmentParticipate in safety meetings and training programs.Wear multiple hats in a start-up environment – you will tackle other projects or assignments as needed to ensure the Company continues its growth momentumExperience & Skills includeTechnical school certification or maintenance-related training preferred2 to 5 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.Experience in warehouse, distribution, garment processing, dry cleaning, manufacturing, or automation environments preferred.Basic electrical knowledge including motors, relays, sensors, and controls.Forklift and scissor lift experience preferredStrong problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and within a teamGood communication skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Comfortable working in hot, cold, noisy, or industrial environmentsAbility to work at heights and in confined spaces when necessary.May require overtime, weekends, or on-call support.Exposure to moving machinery, steam, compressed air, and industrial cleaning chemicals.This role can be physically demanding and requires the ability to regularly stand, walk, kneel, climb, stoop, push and pull, sometimes for extended periods of time.
