The position focuses on developing and maintaining the Training Systems (TS) software that supports the International Space Station, Artemis, Commercial Crew Program, Gateway, and Lunar operations.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop and manage the visuals and graphic applications to support real-time simulation and software for payload training and interfaces to the external payload models and visiting vehicles.\nPerform simple and complex software builds, including compiling, linking, packaging, and integrating software with other developers\nMerging, resolving, and managing code conflicts and dependencies.\nRequired Qualifications:\nThis position requires successful completion of a government background check to access government facilities and systems. Work cannot begin on the NASA program without a fully adjudicated security clearance. If you are not a U.S. Citizen or Green card holder, this check could take 12 to 18 months to complete.\nPreferred candidates will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree\nSoftware development experience using C++ with UNIX or Linux skills\nProgramming experience and knowledge of developing software applications\nStrong coordination and communication skills, both oral and written\nFamiliarity with automated testing, Agile software development methods\nAbility to work as part of a team or as an individual contributor\nExcellent interpersonal skills\nStrong initiative, teamwork and problem solving skills\nAbility to plan, maintain schedules, and push to meet deadlines\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and professionally represent the program\nHighly motivated individual willing to learn and apply new concepts, tools, and software\nDesired Skills:\nPrevious experience in C++, Java, and/or Python software development\nPrevious experience in AMERGINT, gbd, and wireshark\nFamiliarity with Requirements verification methodologies\nLeadership skills\nCompany Description:\nLZT is a professional technologies services firm that employs a diverse range of talent to create an environment that fuels innovation and fosters continuous improvement and success.
