About The Position **Job Title:** CT Technologist **Job Specialty:** Imaging **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Day5x808:00 AM04:00 PM **Guaranteed Hours:** 40 **Experience:** Minimum 1 year preferred **License:** ME State license **Certifications:** BLS, ARRT (R) (CT) required **Must-Have:**Both CT and Rad Tech certificationsExperience with CTA studies and general studiesIV start skills preferredExperience with Toshiba and GE preferred but not required **Job Description:**Immediate start requiredWork schedule is Wednesday to Sunday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PMPossibility of covering overnights and being part of the call rotation during weekendsMay assist in X-ray if coverage is neededPatient care includes primarily adults/geriatrics with some pediatricsResponsible for performing biopsies (training provided if necessary)Average of 25-30 scans per dayTechnology and equipment include Toshiba Aquilion 64 and GE 16 slice PET CT (used as backup)EMR system: CernerPACS: Enterprise Imaging AGFASupport includes a lead tech, 2 techs on weekdays and evenings, 1 on weekends, internal transport, and an on-site radiologistOrientation lasts 1-1.5 weeks based on experience and comfort levelWeekend and holiday rotations requiredFlexibility with scheduling; specific shifts will be based on departmental needs Please ensure your application reflects all necessary qualifications and experience as outlined.
